THIS LISTING IS FOR A PDF PATTERN ONLY. YOU WILL NOT BE RECEIVING ANY PAPER PATTERNS OR FINISHED PLUSH PRODUCTS! If you do not know how to crochet but would like one of these plushies, they are available and can be found here.
This pattern is the perfect gift for anyone who is a fan of these fluffy creatures. You can make these adorable Highland Cow plushies as a small size (3.5" tall), perfect for little ones to carry around, or make it a larger size so it's extra huggable (9" tall)! All you'll have to do to change the size is follow the exact same pattern, and only change the size of the crochet hook, yarn and eyes.
This Pattern is clearly written in English (US) Crochet terms and has been tested. I would definitely say this is an intermediate crochet pattern. To follow it easily, you must know how to:

What you will need for the Small Highland Cow:
Size 4 worsted weight acrylic yarn in 2 desired colors, 1 skein in each color.
About 20" worth of black yarn to embroider the nostrils
3.25mm crochet hook
Premium polyester fiberfill stuffing
A yarn needle
8mm safety eyes (ignore this part of the list if you are gluing your own felt eyes.)
Push pins for sewing the pieces together during assembly
Stitch Markers (This can also be substituted for scrap yarn, safety pin or paper clip. The purpose of a stitch marker is to show the end of a round when crocheting.)

Size changing: If you would like to change the size of the cow, all you have to do is follow this exact same pattern, but change the size of your yarn, hook and eyes. For example, when I made my Large cow, I used size 7 Jumbo weight Polyester yarn, a 6.5mm crochet hook and glued in 22mm felt circles for the eyes.
